SEPTEMBER

  • September 26-27, Charleston WV:  2006 WV Brownfields Conference. First day - Technical Session; second day - WVDEP/USEPA Fate/TransportWorkshop. 11 hours LED credit if attending both days, or 5.5 hours per day if attending a single day. Registration information available here.

OCTOBER

  • October 1-3, Bridgeport WV: WVEDC Annual Conference.  Organizations participating in the LED program are required to have someone representing that organization attend one WVEDC state-wide meeting each year.  The registration form and agenda can be downloaded here.

DECEMBER

  • December 3-7, Oklahoma City, OK: Winter 2006 session, Economic Development Institute. 30 hours LED credit.  Online registration available here.

  • December 3-4, Huntington, WV: Bridge to Innovation, Marshall University. Join Sen. Rockefeller at this forum focused on innovation as an engine for business growth.  There are a limited number of travel and registration scholarships for artisans, small business owners and Local Economic Development Authorities who live or are located  in West Virginia counties that are designated as economically distressed by the Appalachian Regional Commission.
