At the request of the WV Development Office, WVEDC is  featuring a calendar of events that are eligible for LED credit.  If you are aware of a conference, training or event and it is not listed here, please contact dludwig@littlekanawha.com with information about the event. If it is approved for LED hours we will add it to the website calendar.

2007 Calendar

JANUARY

  • Taking Care of Business: TCB I - January 23-25, 2007;  New River CTC, Summersville, WV.   TCB II - March 20-21, 2007; New River CTC, Summersville, WV.   Taking Care of Business is a training program from the National Development Council. LED hours have been assigned as follows: 15 hours for the January session and 10 hours for the March session. Registration Deadline is December 31, 2006. Access the registration brochure here.

 

  • January 25-26, 2007, New Orleans, LA: IEDC Training, Entrepreneurial & Small Business Development Strategies. 12.5 LED hours credit.  For more information click here.

 

 

FEBRUARY

 

  • February  5-6 WVEDC Legislative Conference, Charleston Mariott:   LED grant applicants must attend 1 WVEDC event each grant cycle.  If you attended the 2006 Fall Conference, attending this conference also will give you 8 hours LED credit.

 

 

MARCH

  • March 18-20, Hyatt Regency, Arlington, VA: 2007 IEDC Federal Economic Development Forum - "The Future of the Innovation Economy". 12 hours LED credit. For information click here.
